Ferrara Candy Company Acquires Dori Alimentos
Chicago and Marilia, Brazil, October 2nd, 2023.
Ferrara Candy Company completed the acquisition, announced earlier this year of Brazilian sweets and snacks company Dori Alimentos on September 29, 2023. The close of the acquisition of the second largest player in the Brazilian market also completes Ferrara’s first international acquisition, complementing its organic expansion strategy in Canada and China.

Dori will continue to operate as a standalone subsidiary of Ferrara led by current Chief Executive Officer Pedro Lobo.
